This picture was inspired by a gift from the former owner of our house. Towards the end of 2001, she gave us this pot "to collect all these euro coins."
We filled it with sealing material and added a thin layer of brand new coins. It's a nice decoration, kids love it.
The coins were originally bright and yellow but they've been turning red (they're made of copper).
The coins are new and shining and I can't help but think it's an old gold treasure. It's kinda ironic: the new euro as an old treasure.
Post-processing was mostly cropping to the old 3:2 ratio, sharpening and improving the colors.
